Gospic IvanGOSPIĆ, Ivan - Ivan Gospić, 66, passed away on November 26, 2021.

Born on November 1, 1955 in Zadar, Croatia to Eugen and Marija (née Denona) Gospić, Ivan was a caring and devoted husband to his wife of 42 years, Milena (née Zubčić), and a loving and proud father to his children, Ivan (Dunja), Helena (Hector), Bernarda (Viktor), Anton and Paul.

His grandchildren, Victoria, Laura and Mateo, filled him with profound joy. His love of family meant more to him than anything else. He is also survived by his sisters, Dragica and Slavka, and his brother Marijan.

Earnestly determined to provide a good life for his family, Ivan set out in 1988 from his native Croatia to the boundless horizons of Canada. His unrelenting work ethic was prodigious and allowed him to quickly establish his own construction company.

Gifted with immeasurable energy, tenacity and countless talents, Ivan lived fully. He could find a solution to any challenge and perfected every hobby that he undertook, from diving for mussels in the Adriatic Sea to winemaking and deck-building. He was passionate about the outdoors and found serenity from his work in hunting and fishing and tending to his apple orchard and vineyard.

Arrangements are entrusted with Scott funeral home, Mississauga chapel.

By his family and friends, Ivan will be remembered as an incredibly strong, kind and supportive father and loving husband. His big heart and generous spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
