Hewitt TylerHEWITT, Tyler Paul (Ty)   - April 9, 1994 – December 5, 2021

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear son and brother, Tyler Paul Hewitt (Ty) on December 5, 2021.

Ty's love for adventure and the outdoors led him to British Columbia 7 years ago, where he began to build his amazing life with his fiancée, Kristen and dog, Copper.

Ty never believed he was suited for a "regular office job".

He loved to work with his hands and turned that passion into a successful career as a plumbing contractor.

Tyler passed doing what he loved most, seeking adventure with family and friends.

We will remember Tyler for his infectious smile, his love for family and his passion for life.

His presence at any gathering was guaranteed to brighten the occasion. Tyler leaves behind his fiancée Kristen, his parents Kari and Paul, and his brothers, but more importantly, his best friends Kyle and Adam (Melissa).

He is also survived and will be deeply missed by his grandparents Jack and Audrey Hewitt, uncle Jack and aunt Julie, aunt Sandra and uncle Keith, aunt Lise and uncle Phil, aunt Randi and uncle Marc and his cousins Geoffrey, Perry, Christopher, Jeffrey, Ashlee, Sara, Matt and Laura.

He now rests with his beloved grandparents Erik (Grandad) and Rae Hansen (Grammy).

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 17th at Marshall Funeral Home, Richmond Hill at 11 a.m. with a private family visitation 1 hour prior. Masks are mandatory. In order to attend the service, you must be fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccine with valid identification must be presented before entering the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Wounded Warriors Canada at https://woundedwarriors.ca/donate/.
