Green NancyGREEN, Nancy Ann Green   -   Age 89, died peacefully at Royal Terrace Nursing Home, in Palmerston, ON, with family by her side, on December 23, 2021.

Nancy was born in London, Ontario, on June 4, 1932, to Helen and Harry Archer.

Nancy was a devoted member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority throughout her life.

She cherished the lifelong friendships, blessings and adventures that the sorority brought her.

She also took great pride in teaching children during her time at the Montessori School in Etobicoke and enjoyed the friendship of staff, students and their parents.

She and her husband of 68 years, John (predeceased 2002), enjoyed entertaining and traveling both locally and abroad. They and the family spent countless summers of fun at the Nanmark cottages on Lake Nippissing.

Both Nancy and John were active members of Christ the King Anglican Church in Etobicoke and Trinity Anglican Church in Cambridge. Sister to Barry Archer (predeceased) and his wife Elsie.

She is survived by her two children, Mark (wife, Roberta), and David (wife, Heidi); her grandchildren Kaitlyn (husband, Jonathan and great-grandson Parker) and Micheal (partner, Chloe).

Aunt to Allan and wife Alison, and great-aunt to Owen and Zoey.

Due to current health concerns, the service is limited to a small family gathering in Nancy's honour which will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Corbett Funeral Home, Dundas St. N., Cambridge, ON.

Should you wish to make a donation in honour of Nancy, please consider a donation to the Royal Terrace Nursing Home in Palmerston, ON, to support the purchase of an Interactive Projection System to assist in Dementia care.

The staff there have provided a wonderful, caring family environment for Nancy during her 8 years there and were her loving surrogate family during COVID lockdowns.
