Cooper GlennCOOPER, Glenn James   -  Born February 8, 1945 in Chatham Died December, 24, 2021 in Oakville.

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces that Glenn is "in spiritu non in corpora est."

He is the cherished husband of 49 years to Carol (née Hone), caring father to Emily (Umang) and Tim (Leigh), fun loving Grandpa Glenn to Finley, Gillon, River and Arran.

He was predeceased by his brother Dave and parents Ruth and Jim.

He is adored by his siblings Nancy, Doug and Perry as well as his cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends both old and new.

Glenn makes his mark with a brilliant mix of satire and dry wit often weaved together through gifted storytelling.

He shared laughs with many and in recent years nothing brought him greater joy than laughing with his grandchildren.

He enjoyed music, history, books, trains, crossword puzzles, Jeopardy, Di-Di, and the news with 3 newspapers delivered daily.

He was raised in Ridgetown, studied at Western, was a respected insolvency lawyer who practiced for over 40 years.

He enjoyed the challenge of the law and sometimes referred to himself as a professional secret keeper and excuse maker. At his core, he was a musician who played the piano, organ, and sang in choirs.

We trust his memory will live on in our music, stories, smiles, laughter, and fun. His life was well-lived. Rest in God's Peace.

A Service of Remembrance to be held at St. Jude's Anglican Church in Oakville once restrictions are lifted.

Those who wish may make donations to Youth Mental Health, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Cancer Research, Greenpeace.
