BAKER, Wilma May (nee OUGHTON) - Born on October 26, 1928 in Swansea, Ontario, Wilma May Baker passed peacefully on December 25, 2021.
Wilma was predeceased by her parents William and May Oughton and sisters Winnie and Ena.
Survived by her dearly loved daughters Andrea (Bill Jackson - predeceased) and Jennifer (Josh Kutner) and grandchildren Matthew and Elliot.
Wilma was a woman of many interests and passions.
Wilma was sustained throughout her life by nature, music, painting on location and good friends, including the furry ones.
Wilma will be fondly remembered by family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing this remarkable lady. In keeping with Wilma's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.
Private cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wilma to the Barrie Art Club or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to thank the PSWs, nurses and the wonderful people of Acclaim Health for the care they showed Wilma over the last couple of years.
