Jill was born in India to Lillian Mosse and Major Rudolph Eberhardie on July 4th, 1929.

She studied nursing in Britain and was a dedicated nurse for the majority of her life, particularly loving midwifery. She brought over thirty babies into the world.

She married Mark Turnbull on June 15, 1956 and was the loving mother of their four children. Her life was an active, happy one filled with unique experiences.

Jill was preceded in death by her brothers Colin and Edward, (Ted), Eberhardie, her parents, and the father of her children, Mark Turnbull. Jill is survived by her four children Guy, Mark and his wife Barbara, Tracey and Thomas Turnbull.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Parker and Sabra Nowlan, and Carter and Trenton Turnbull. She leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Levi and Esti Dang. She is survived by her British relatives, beloved sister-in-law Chris Eberhardie, and nephew and niece Brian and Hellen Eberhardie.

The family of Jill wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the wonderful staff and volunteers at True Davidson Acres (particularly Anne-Marie and the 5th floor), and the very kind and compassionate healthcare workers in Michael Garron Hospital's Palliative Care Unit.

Immediate family will be gathering privately to honour Jill's life.
