WRIGHT, Constance (Connie) Lorraine   - On December 31, 2021, Connie passed away at the age of 89 years and 10 months, after a full and happy life.

She was a loving, caring and generous person with a determined streak and a good sense of humour.

Later in life she lived by the motto…get up, dress up and show up. Connie was always interested in the people and world around her and enjoyed many social activities.

Although reluctant at times, she impressed her friends as she embraced technology advancements for communication and enjoyment. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Norm.

She was the dear mother of Murray and his wife Jackie and Warren and his partner Rita, and the loving grandmother of Michele (Victor) and Allison Wright (AJ) and great-grandmother of Jackson Redford.

Her parents were Mary and Art McAteer. She was predeceased by her siblings Marion Berney, Stuart McAteer and Andrea Branton.

She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Marjorie Mitchell and her family, Gary (Jill), Sharon and Julie (Dave) Mitchell, her niece, Margo Smith, her friends, and other relatives. Connie was a faithful, longtime member of Bloordale United Church in Etobicoke.

A service will be held at the Turner & Porter Neweduk Chapel, Mississauga, on Friday, January 7, 2022.  Due to the restrictions surrounding COVID, space is limited and registration is required to attend.

In lieu of flowers, an expression of sympathy may be made through a donation to Trillium Health Partners in memory of Connie.
