Middup MadelineMIDDUP, Madeline May (nee LeBAR)   - It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Madeline on December 29, 2021, at the age of 100.

Predeceased by her husband Russell Middup and daughter Gaye Ante (Peter).

Mother to Arline, Virginia (Laurence) and John (Sharon). Beloved Nana to Chris, Trisha, Tyler (Kalyn), Ashleigh, Thomas, and Lauren.

Great-Nana to Landon, Nolan, and Greyson. On May 3, 1963, she lost her husband Russell Middup to a heart attack and Madeline was left not only raising four children but running Middup Moving and Storage which was the family business.

The business did very well under her leadership until it was sold in 1977.

Madeline had many friends that she had met over the years.

She was very active throughout her life and really enjoyed dancing, bridge, and many sports.

Mom was a longtime member of the Toronto Cricket Club where she loved participating in bridge, lawn bowling and curling. She was a wonderful mother to her children and was always welcoming and willing to help if required.

Mom loved family gatherings especially Sunday night roast dinners, holiday celebrations and summer BBQs.

An event wouldn't be right if she didn't serve her famous cheese dreams.

We are proud of the strong women she was and appreciate her ability to keep the family together.

Thanks for everything Mom, we love you and miss you dearly.

Due to Covid, a private family funeral has been arranged on January 12th.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Madeline may be made to a charity of choice.
