NAWORYNSKI, Kenneth William   -  (November 22, 1941 – December 27, 2021)

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce that Ken Naworynski passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Baycrest Hospital in Toronto, on Monday, December 27, 2021, in his 81st year, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves behind his wife, best friend and soulmate of 56 years, Patricia.

Father to his beloved sons, Jeff (Rosalie) and P. J. (Sari). Proud Grandpa to Aidan, Brynne, Sophie and Grampy to Zahara. Truly a bright light, any time spent talking and joking with Ken was a treat for all who were lucky to meet him.

Born on the windswept prairies of rural Manitoba, Ken made his way east where he met Patricia and decided to put down roots and start building a family.

A 33-year career at Toronto Hydro followed. Never one to put himself before anyone, Ken made it his mission in life to take care of everyone he met.

That is the legacy he leaves behind – Husband, Father, Grandfather, Caregiver, Friend – a true mensch and an example to us all.

Memorial Mass to be held at Our Lady of Grace Parish (15347 Yonge St. Aurora) on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10:30 a.m., with interment to follow.

Special thanks to the caring and compassionate professionals at Baycrest for taking such good care of our incredibly wonderful father and best friend, Ken.

In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests donations be made in Ken's name to the Baycrest Hospital Foundation.
