NEWTON, Larry Walter - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Walter Newton (Waldo) (Aurora, ON) who passed away unexpectedly on Friday January 14, 2022 in his 74th year.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Katherine of 49 years, daughter Janet Newton (Shayne Dunkley), son Brian Newton, his adored grandchildren Ashley and Emily Dunkley, sister Gwen Robinson, brothers Ron Newton (Daria), Jack Newton (Mary), Ken Newton (Trudy), sister in law Judy Vestby (Terry) and many loving nieces, nephews and their extended family members and friends.
Larry cherished time with his family especially day trips with Kathy, family dinners and watching his granddaughters play hockey and baseball. He looked forward to the summers so he could weekly play golf with his regular partners.
Larry was an avid fan of horse racing and always looked forward to his annual trips to Florida and Saratoga. He enjoyed following all types of sports and had a true loyalty to the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays.
Arrangements entrusted with Thompson funeral home, Aurora. A private Celebration of Life will take place followed by a private burial service at the Aurora Cemetery.
