BLAKE, Alexanader - September 18, 1931 - January 14, 2022
Alex, born September 18, 1931 in Edinburgh, Scotland, passed away peacefully at his residence in Toronto, on Friday, January 14, 2022, after a long struggle with dementia.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Gladys of 67 years, his devoted sons Alan (Joanne) and Philip (Tracey), his cherished granddaughter Laura (Phil) and great-grandsons Patrick, Parker and Preston.
Predeceased by daughter Heather and granddaughter Nicole.
He also leaves family in Scotland, his sister-in-law Margaret and his dear niece Christine and their families.
Cremation has taken place.
Regretfully due to these uncertain times, the family has made the difficult decision to not have a service or memorial.
The family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in Alex's nam.
