CANNON, Desmond John - On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, Desmond died peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, after a long struggle with esophageal cancer.
Desmond leaves behind his loving family: son Suhail, sisters Jacqueline, Geraldine (Lucien), Josephine and his brother Paul (Grazyna). His niece Nicole (Noel), nephew Kyle and his grandniece Kinley and his grandnephew Kolby.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Juvita Fernandez Cannon, brother-in-law Clinton Sherman, beloved nephew Foster Sherman and his dear parents Ursula and Jack Cannon. Our irreplaceable Desmond will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who crossed his path.
Visitation will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, Scarborough, on Friday, January 28th, from 1–2 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Capacity restrictions in effect. Please contact the funeral centre. Interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society - Esophageal Cancer.
