AZZARELLO, Marina Louise   -  Born August 10, 1928, in Sudbury.

Died peacefully, May 7, 2022, at home.

Beloved wife of Salvadore (now deceased).

Loved and respected mother to Michael (Faith), Stephen (Freda) and Mary Ann (Steve).

Grandmother to Stephanie, Leah (Warren), Adam (Nikki), Samantha (Joseph) and Victor.

Great-grandmother to Nora, Chiara, Ariana and Henry. Sister to Mary Ann Grittani.

Aunt to Paul Grittani (Sue), Dave Azzarello (Diana), Norma Grittani, Jo-Anne Azzarello-Perkins (John) and Sarah Amy Bishop.

Marina was full of energy! She was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook, always exploring new recipes on her ipad.

She loved Puccini's operas and always looked forward to a shopping trip to Bloor Street.

In these last few years she cherished spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Our thanks to the palliative health care team at the Tammy Latner Centre for Palliative Care at Mount Sinai Hospital for the wonderful care provided to Marina.

Visitation at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E., on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 11 a.m.until the time of the memorial service at 12 noon.

Donations can be made in her memory to the Tammy Latner Centre for Palliative Care at Mount Sinai Hospital.
