KELLY, Joseph Gerald  -   Passed peacefully, on May 11, 2022, at the age of 92.

Joseph spent most of his days in East York as an influential businessman, friend and mentor to many.

He was a devoted husband of 56 years to his wife and Miracle, Marie Elizabeth Arbour Kelly (predeceased). Joseph was a loving father to his 7 children Joseph, James, Karen, Denise, Sandra, Deborah and Thomas.

He will be missed by his grandchildren Marissa, Dan, Pierce, Caitlin, Julia, Jordan, Maggie, Alison, Carlye, Lachlan and Bronwyn.

Joseph led the charge in many entrepreneurial ventures. He was a co-founder of several successful businesses: from his early days at Big Town TV to Kelly's Used Motors to Jim Pappin Hockey and Horses to Snooker Canada and RE/MAX Hallmark Real Estate Brokerage and more.

Joseph lived a life full of creativity, passion, determination, and appreciation.

Joseph's greatest happiness came from his ability to nurture and mentor those who sought guidance or needed a helping hand. His dedication to his wife being the ultimate example for us all.

"Life is what happens in spite of your plans," was Joseph's motto. He had a passion for boating, golf, and snooker.

Joseph will be missed, but his exemplary legacy will live on for generations to come.

Joseph will be resting at Paul O'Conner Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E., on May 18, 2022, Visitation at 10:00 a.m. with Service, Reception and Burial to follow. Friends and family are welcomed to gather and pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto at: https://alz.to/.
