Foran VincentFORAN, Vincent   -   It is with great sadness we announce the death of Vincent Foran, who passed away peacefully in Trillium Hospital on May 16, 2022.

Predeceased by his parents; sister, Elizabeth; and brothers, Michael and John.

Mourned and sadly missed by his wife, Mary (nee Grogan); daughter, Maureen; and son-in-law, Ian; son, Michael; and daughter-in-law, Tasha; son, Terence; and daughter-in-law, Andrea; daughter, Anne Marie; and son-in-law, Des.

"Poppa" was loved by grandchildren, Rachel, Shannon, Patricia, Maya, Cassidy, Kieran, Brayden and Dylan, along with the extended Foran and Grogan families and friends.

Vincent was born in Glascloune, Doonbeg Co. Clare, Ireland and immigrated to Canada in 1964.

After marrying Mary, the family moved to Etobicoke, where they enjoyed a wonderful life together for 56 years. Vincent never forgot his Irish roots.

He was a proud member of the Toronto Clare Association, an avid GAA fan and supported many Irish dances and plays throughout the years.

His volunteer work in the Irish community included fundraising, building stages for Irish dance competitions and floats for St. Patrick's Day parades.

He worked for Molson for more than 25 years and received awards for dedicated service and safety.

He will be fondly remembered for enjoying a hearty laugh, a good joke, big smiles and a twinkle in his eye.

Visitation will take place at Turner and Porter York Chapel at 2357 Bloor Street W., from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, May 20.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 21, at 9:30 a.m., Nativity of Our Lord Church, 480 Rathburn Road followed by interment.
