CARTER, Elaine (nee PETERS) - October 13, 1929 - May 11, 2022
Peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. Captain of the Trinidad & Tobago National Women's Field Hockey team 1958-1960.
Immigrated to Canada in the late 60's.
Dedicated career at Vickers & Benson.
She had a passion for building community in all spaces.
A respected member in the local Caribbean Chinese Association and 25-year volunteer at the Sunnybrook Tuck Shop.
Her love of baking, photography and Ikebana will be missed along with her genuine smile and "sassy" wit that made her a personality memorable to all.
Donations may be made to Scarborough General Hospital in her memory.
