CLARK, Isabelle Jean (nee GRIFFIN)   -  Passed away peacefully, on May 24, 2022, at the age of 94, after spending her final days surrounded by loving family.

She was the daughter of the late Olive and Bruce Griffin and beloved wife of 52 years to the late Norman Clark.

Isabelle was predeceased by her brother Bob Griffin and sister Elizabeth Wise and is survived by her sister Marilyn Reed. She will be remembered dearly by her five children: Bruce (Margaret), Barb (Jim), Bob (Karen), Doug (Sue) and Don (Lynn).

Isabelle was an adored grandmother of Andrew, Alison, Jill, Peter, Jillian, Sarah, Emily, John, Katie, Laura, Trevor, Jamie and Lauren and proud great-grandmother of 10 wonderful children.

"Griff" was a graduate of the Class of '49 Wellesley School of Nursing, where she met her husband and made lifelong friends, a devoted volunteer with the IODE and a compassionate teacher of the visually impaired at the CNIB.

Isabelle's love of music carried her to Europe with the Mendelssohn Choir as well as inspiring her 40 years of participation in the choirs at Church of the Ascension and St. John's York Mills Anglican Churches. Isabelle's great love was her family, to whom she devoted her life.

Adored by all, she served as an example of grace, energy and decorum. She was also blessed to have countless lifelong friendships from the neighbourhoods in which she lived and from her nursing, volunteer work, choirs and church. Her wonderful spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all of her family and friends.

A family funeral was held on May 26, 2022, at St. John's York Mills Anglican Church and the family wishes to express its appreciation to Dr. Catherine Keating, Deacon, who presided over a beautiful service.

We also wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Sunrise Thornhill who provided extraordinary compassionate care.

Donations to a charity meaningful to you in memory of Isabelle, would be appreciated.
