DAM, Jørgen (John) - February 22, 1939 to May 20, 2022
After a short illness, Jørgen passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife Inge; daughters Amanda (Joe) and Rikke (Keith); and granddaughters Clare and Emma.
Jørgen was born into a farming family in Denmark.
After farming school, Jørgen was in the Royal Danish Army for 2 years and was a member of the Guard Hussar Regiment. In 1967, Jørgen immigrated to Canada.
Jørgen worked 37 dedicated years with Canadian Tire. In 1973, Jørgen married Inge, with whom he shared his life for over 48 years. His daughters are grateful for all he has done to raise them as strong women.
Jørgen loved living in Schomberg, ON, being close to the farms and rolling hills.
Jørgen will be greatly missed by friends and family. A memorial will be planned for a later date.
The family would like to thank Southlake Palliative Care Unit and Margaret Bahen Hospice for the care received.
