KORNICKY, Richard Gregory - May 30, 1939 - May 24, 2022
With profound sadness the family announces the passing of Richard (Dick) at Centenary Hospital.
Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Rees) for almost 62 years. Dearly loved father of Donna (Randy) and Darryl (Kim).
Cherished "Bop" to Amanda and Matthew. Uncle to Kim, Gerry and Terry in British Columbia.
Lifelong friend for over 70 years to Ted. Predeceased by his parents, Kirill and Eugenia; in-laws, Warwick and Edith, Douglas and Elizabeth Rees.
Richard's professional life started in B.P Refinery Montreal in 1960, and progressed to Toronto in 1980 (Petro Canada).
For the 12 years prior to retirement, he served as International Manager for lubricants.
His travels for both work and personal pleasure included North America, Europe and Asia.
Japan and his closest associates held a special place in his heart.
As per his wishes, there will be no funeral.
A private Celebration of Life following cremation will take place at a later date.
Donations made to SickKids Foundation, or a charity of choice, would be greatly appreciated.
