LEGGE, Mary Carolyn (nee MacTAGGART), M.Mus.   -  1933 – 2022   Predeceased by her brothers, Donald, Thomas and Gerald; former wife of the late C.F. David Legge.

Born and raised in Muskoka, Mary spent her adult life in Toronto, where she taught school for over 35 years.

A graduate of University of Toronto, she had a rewarding career as a devoted music educator, church organist, choral adjudicator, and founder of the Penthelia Singers.

She sang with the Mendelssohn Choir and was a RCCO Board member.

Mary was an avid gardener, a keen member of the IODE, an enthusiastic lawn bowler, and a proud Canadian.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara; son-in-law, Derek Plansky; and grandchildren, Alexander and Carolyne, of Florida, as well as numerous nieces and nephews across Canada.

Her funeral and interment were private.
