MILNE, William H. (Bill)   -  1925-2022  Bill died at Sunnybrook Hospital on June 11th in his 98th year, beloved husband of the late Ruth Breakwell; cherished father of Cathy (Paul Singleton); John (Hazel); and Meg (Maureen Kavanagh).

Loving grandfather of Alec Singleton; Matthew Singleton (Laura Robb); Jamie Singleton (Amanda); Tim Singleton (Ian Roberts); Heather Milne (Grant Desjardine); Stewart Milne; and Wendy Milne (Rahel Milne).

Great-grandfather of Evie and Theo Singleton. Fondly remembered by sisters Ina (the late Don Wiley) of St. Catharines and Mary (Ted Long) of Barrie as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by parents Harry and Edith Milne of Barrie and sisters Beth Potts, Margaret Jackson and Joan Lynn.

Bill was a veteran of WWII RCAF Bomber Command. He enjoyed his association with the Royal Canadian Legion, Fort York Branch; the Air Crew Association and the P.O.W. Association.

He was active in community affairs, including the Kiwanis Club; and was a long-time member of St. Clement's Anglican Church where he served as a warden and on various committees over the years.

Bill enjoyed many years with the Bank of Nova Scotia, culminating with his appointment as Corporate Secretary of the Bank.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

The family extends many thanks to the management and staff at The Briton House for the attention and care given to Bill during his long residence there.

A private family service has been held.
