RAYMOND, David Anthony - Died on June 12. 2022, at Mississauga Hospital of Septicaemia and Heart Failure.
Tony was born in Montréal in 1932, the only son of the late Charles Raymond and Frances Johanna Jackson.
He attended school in Montréal, Halifax, Ottawa, Brantford, and Toronto, graduating in 1958 with a BCom from Trinity College of the University of Toronto.
Immediately upon graduation, Tony joined The Prudential Insurance Company of America in its Canadian Head Office in Toronto. In 1962, the company moved Tony to its group sales office in Montréal, where he worked for 18 years.
In 1980, Tony was transferred back to Toronto, where he spent the remainder of his Prudential career.
He retired in 1995. Tony leaves his cherished wife of 63 years, Joan (née Ford), whom he married in May 1959, daughters, Sally (Stefan Dembinski) and Suzanne, and their children, Nicole and Ryan.
His sister-in-law, Patricia Collins, also survives him as do many friends of long-standing.
Tony had a lifelong love of aviation and became a private pilot in 1953.
His remains have been cremated in accordance with his wishes with no visitation or service.
