Bleakley MargaretBLEAKLEY, Margaret Joan (nee BUTLER)   -  Margaret Joan Bleakley, age 91, of East York, Ontario, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022.

Margaret was born May 5, 1931, in London, England.

She was 1 of 8 siblings, the youngest of 5 girls. Jean, Gladys, Doris, Alice, Fred, John and Peter (surviving).

She was a loving mother to her 4 children, Stephen, Michael, Lorraine and Robert, beloved grandmother to Stephanie, Rachel, Colin, and Rene, and dear great-grandmother to Benjamin and Brooklyn.

Margaret also leaves behind many nieces and nephews in America and the United Kingdom.

When she was 23 years old she began her journey to Canada with her young son Robert.

She was a loved and cherished mother and friend. She loved her children dearly and mothering came naturally to her. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Senior's Centre and Ladies Guild.

Margaret had an optimistic spirit and attended church every Sunday. She enjoyed watching Corrie Street, Clark Gable movies, and all things pertaining to the Royal Family.

A Visitation for Margaret will be held Monday, June 20, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave., Toronto, ON, followed by a Funeral Service from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

 In lieu of flowers, please donate to Pancreatic Cancer. "Be strong, take courage His light will show you the way Do not fear or be dismayed One in you will be strong in you today, Nothing can take you out of his hands The lord lives within you You will be strong today".
