BAINES, John Peter - Passed away peacefully, on June 18, 2022, at the age of 82, with the love of his family in his heart.
Devoted husband to Ariane, and proud and loving father to his three children: Mark (Lindsay), Michelle, and Michael. John was born in Woodford Essex, England and immigrated to Canada in 1970.
He spent his professional career of over 40 years in the reinsurance industry, was well respected by his peers, and never hesitated to share his knowledge with others.
But without a doubt, his largest accomplishment was his family.
He enjoyed supporting his children's sports endeavors, assisting with homework duties, and most of all spending time with family on annual summer trips to Wymbolwood Beach.
While the last few years saw many challenges, the whole family was delighted by the birth of Holland Baines, John's first grandchild, who has brought so much joy and light to our lives.
John lived a full and wonderful life, and will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
