MOORE, Jacqueline Wynne (nee Howard) - April 11, 1946 - June 27, 2022
After a brief battle with cancer, in the comfort of her home as she had wished, Jackie peacefully followed the calling of the Spirit and went home.
Jackie is survived by her son, Jeffrey Nicholas Moore, who carries her love of fishing, devotion to family, and quiet wisdom.
Her daughter-in-law, Samantha Moore, who embraces Jackie's grace to help and care for others.
Her grandson, Caiden Lock Moore, who reflects Jackie's love of reading and social nature.
And her daughter, Patti Jean Moore, who carries with her Jackie's independent spirit and belief that anything can be cured by a long drive with the windows down and music up. Jackie often spoke of her fond memories of growing up in Thornhill.
t age 6, Jackie decided she would be a physician, and from that moment she dedicated her life to her profession. This was not without its challenges for a woman in the 60s and 70s, but her determination was a force to be reckoned with. To help ease the stress of her work, Jackie turned to music.
Jackie was a survivor, having overcome cancer in 1987 and again in 1993, she then lived with heart disease for over 25 years.
At Jackie's request, she will be privately laid to rest by her children. We welcome friends and family at a future gathering - the date, and location is TBD.
