GROGAN-SMITH, Kathleen "Kae"   -  With hearts full of love and sadness, we announce the passing of mom, our beautiful "Irish Rose" as we held her hands on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

A loving mother to Liz and Kate; adoring grandmother to Max, Morgan, Aileigh, and Olivia; and great-grandmother to her 5 great-grandchildren.

Devoted step-mother to Karen, Paul, Barry and Shirley of her late husband, Lloyd Smith. Born December 3, 1921 to Annie Deyell Lutton (Wingham) and John Lutton (Belfast), mom grew up in Toronto with her two sisters, known as the "Irish Lutton girls", Merry and Norine (deceased).

At 100 years and 8 months to the day, mom led an extraordinary life. Throughout her life, mom's ability to embrace all life's challenges with genuine compassion enabled her to share her positive, kind and loving spirit around the world.

Our family would like to thank the incredibly loving caregivers at Sunrise of Mississauga.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Peel.

A private family interment will take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, followed by a Celebration of Life with friends from 4-6 p.m. at Marina Del Rey, "Malibu Club" 2267 Lake Shore Blvd. West, Toronto.
