FORBES, Lawrence Thomas (Tom), Q.C., - Tom gently passed away, holding hands with his family, on Sunday, August 7, 2022, in his 85th year.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 59 years, Mudite (Riss) and his 4 children, Tom (Beth), Sandra (Stephen), Mary (Scott) and Margaret (Jeff).
Tom is Gump to his 8 grandchildren, each of whom he loves fiercely and is so proud of.
He is also survived by 3 sisters and their families.
Tom was a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation and retired partner at McCarthy Tetrault. As an Officer of the International Bar Association, he spearheaded many initiatives.
He was a powerful advocate and champion for his clients and family.
He will be cremated and his ashes will be distributed during a private family celebration at a place he enjoyed with his family for many years.
