BYBERG, Frederick Colin "Rick"    -  December 30, 1934 – September 15, 2022

Rick Byberg passed away after a short illness, in his 88th year. Rick was born in Toronto to Peter and Alice, the second of four sons.

He married Lois Percy in 1956, and together they had eight children: Dianne, Camille, Jennifer, Robert, Mary, Barbara, Patricia and Leslie.

After Lois's death in 1977, Rick remained in Toronto (Highland Creek) for another 9 years, but eventually moved north to Port Loring, Ontario, where he lived for over 35 years.

He married Marie Wood in 1995. Rick leaves his 8 children, 16 grandchildren (predeceased by Shaun McLellan and Jennifer Barber) and 8 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.

Dad also leaves his wife, Marie, and her family.

Thank you to the doctors and specialists at Centenary Hospital who finally diagnosed Dad, and the nurses of 9 West for putting up with his enormous family.

A brief visitation (1 p.m.) followed by a service (2 p.m.) will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Kane Jerrett Funeral home. We love you and will miss you Dad.
