ZACHAR, John - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Andrew Zachar.
John passed peacefully, at St. Joseph's Health Care Centre, with his loving wife of 62 years, Anne, by his side.
He will be missed by his three children, Eva, Michael, and Jo Anne; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Samantha, Sarah, Sofia, Adela and Felix; and great-grandson, Charles.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September 23rd, at Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., from 5-8 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel on Saturday, September 24th, at 3 p.m.
Donations in John's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
