PATSKOU, Zoi (nee KIRKOS) - Zoi Patskou (nee Kirkos) passed away peacefully at 92 years of age surrounded by her family on October 1, 2022 in Toronto.
She was born in Macedonia on March 16, 1930 and came to Canada in 1947.
She worked as a waitress in the family restaurant until she married in 1953 and then led a full life as homemaker, the best wife, mother and baba you could wish for, friend to all and right to the end, one dynamic bowler.
She was predeceased by her husband Alexander (2005) and leaves behind her children Don (Joanne), Bill (Carrol), Jim (Marisa), Loretta (Tom) and Patricia (Adriano).
She was a loving baba to her grandchildren Derek, Michael, Lauren, Alex and Daniel and loved by her many nieces and nephews.
A big thank you to all the caregivers and staff at the Humber River Hospital and St. Elizabeth Health Care. Their dedication, support and kindness was very much appreciated.
Visitation will be at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Weston on Tuesday, October 4th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Service will be held on Wednesday, October 5th at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home chapel. Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
