MICHIBATA, Suyeko "Sue" - Passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at Chartwell Retirement Home Scarlett Heights, Etobicoke, on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the age of 93.
Loved and survived by sons, Thomas and Glenn (Angie); and grandchildren, Cori and Matthew.
Predeceased by her husband, Shioge (2021); her brother, Bill; and sisters, Jean, Fumi, Kay, Chris and Shirley.
An outgoing and cheerful person, Suyeko loved to play the piano and sing at the Toronto Buddhist Church Sr. Karaoke Club.
Suyeko also enjoyed playing tennis.
She had an optimistic view of life, even when the chips were down.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Weston, on Sunday, October 16th from 2-5 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Sunday, November 6th at 3 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.
