Genjaga JulieGENJAGA, Julie   -  August 12, 1932 - October 12, 2022

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, in her 91st year.

Loving wife of the late Michael Genjaga.

Dear mother of Mary Ann, Kristina Eva (Sam) and Vasil Michael (Brenda) and the late Helen Genjaga.

Cherished Baba to her grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, David and Aaron.

Julie was born on August 12, 1932 in Sokyrnytsia, Ukraine and came to Canada in 1951.

She married the love of her life, Michael, in 1956 and they shared a happy marriage and lifelong friendship for over 50 years.

Julie lived in the Bloor West Village community for over 60 years and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and an exemplary homemaker.

She loved to cook, bake, entertain, crochet and was an avid gardener.

Her beautiful soul and friendship will be sadly missed by her family, neighbors and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 16th, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. at Windermere. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 17th, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel. Interment will be following the service.
