BATTISTON, Christine - 1932 - 2022 It is with great sadness that the family of Christine Battiston, announce her sudden passing at her home in Toronto, on October 12, 2022, at the age of 90.
Daughter to Rosa (Oma), widow to Nebe (Papa), mother to Amanda (and Sharon), Tina (and Greg) and Yvonne (and Manny) and grandmother to Stephanie and Tyler.
Bravely, she moved from Germany alone at the age of 18 and settled in Canada, where she lived a long life.
She was a hard worker and only retired from Diamond Taxi at the age of 80.
Christine was independent right until the end. She will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend Cardinal Funeral Home at 92 Annette Street, on Sunday, October 16th. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and the Service will be held at 1:15 p.m.
