BAXTER, Maureen - January 17, 1936 – October 13, 2022
Maureen passed away peacefully, in her 86th year, with her two sons by her side, on October 13, 2022, at her long term care home in Toronto, Ontario.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Gerry, in 2018, she will be deeply missed by her sons, Gary (Kathryn) and Brad (Jodi); and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Stefanie, Megan and Alyse; sister, Linda; sister-in-law, Patricia; brother-in-law, Maurice; and many nieces and nephews.
Born in London, England, she immigrated with Gerry to Toronto, Canada in 1957. Maureen and Gerry were married for 61 wonderful years, and loved living life together.
They were happiest spending time with their family at their son, Gary's, cottage, and down in Florida. Maureen also enjoyed many family trips back to England over the years, to visit with her sister and her extended family.
Maureen will be remembered most for her kindness, friendship, and her smile.
Her sons would like to thank the staff at Deerwood Creek Care Community home for the compassionate care they provided Maureen in her final years.
A private cremation has been held and a Celebration of Life is being planned.
