ALERNO, Anne Florence - March 22, 1937 - September 25, 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful mother, Anne Salerno, at the age of 85.
Born in Toronto, daughter to Rose and Charlie Christian.
Dearest niece of Alfred Donaldson and wife of 30 years to James Salerno (1937-1990).
Anne's greatest joy was her family - mother to three precious children, Kelly (Terry), Gina (Steve), Dominic (Lisa), and Nanny to her seven grandchildren, Cole (Alessa), Dane, Karli (Patrick), Jakob (Tess), Anika, Sam (Megan), Tess (Steven), Siobhan (Nick), and great-grandmother to Gwendolyn Anne.
Anne held close her dearest lifetime childhood friends, Dianna James and the late Dolly Fox.
A strong fiercely independent woman with a keen determination to never stop learning, forever absorbing knowledge with a memory that never failed.
There was no limit to Anne's kindness, love and passion for all.
Anne's smile and loving soul could light up a room. You will be missed forever and never forgotten.
Your spirit lives on in all those you touched. Let us all pray in our own way.
