Perkovic StankoERKOVIC, Stanko   -   It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stanko (Stan) Perkovic on November 4, 2022, two days after celebrating his 81st birthday.

Devoted husband of 52 years to Katy (nee Bradica); loving father to Stephanie Cox and son-in-law, Rob; and cherished grandfather of Nathan and Rachel.

Stan is also survived by his sister, Ivanka Vukusic (Mile) He was predeceased by his sister, Vera Plese (Adam); and brother, Vlado.

He was a fond brother-in-law to Violet Bakalar (deceased) (Josip), Anne Dumancic (Ivan), Barbara Kovacevic (Marko), and Joe Bradica (Christine).

He was a thoughtful and favourite uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Stan was an avid fisherman.

He was well known in the neighbourhood for his abundant tomato harvest which he loved to share with family, friends, and neighbours.

Stan was the "Norm" of various City of Mississauga community arenas, where he worked as an operator for 20 years and where everybody knew his name.

Stan will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind, generous, and honest person. He will be greatly missed.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Tuesday, November 8th, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Parish, 921 Flagship Drive, Mississauga, on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in Mississauga.
