MILNE, Sheila   -  Sheila passed away at Mount Sinai hospital in Toronto, on Tuesday, November 1st, aged 85, with her niece, Carrie, by her side.

She was predeceased by her parents; her nephew, Russell; her beloved husband, Frederick Milne; and her sister, Sandra Dawson. Sheila was a dynamic and creative teacher.

Born in Vancouver, she first taught there, and later in Toronto at Metro School for the Deaf, Forest Hill Elementary and Huron Street. Her years teaching were happy ones and she made many lifelong friends.

Sheila's anecdotes and stories demonstrated her humour and deep affectionate attachment to her students.

She was a consummate teacher! Cremation has taken place and a private interment of her and her husband's ashes will occur.

A celebration of Sheila and Fred's life will be held next spring.

She and Fred enjoyed many happy summers at their cottage at Jackson's Point.

Friends and family will treasure their many memories of Sheila.

Donations may be made to a children's Charity of Your Choice.
