Noble DerekNOBLES, Derek R.   -  July 22, 1955 - October 22, 2022

Derek's journey with cancer as his shadow has ended.

He passed on to a new adventure and into God's hands with his cherished wife, Jacqueline, by his side.

His spirit and legacy remain. In all aspects of his life, personal and professional, Derek earned the respect of those whose lives he touched.

He was keenly intelligent, a successful entrepreneur, a gifted public speaker, and an adventurer. He enjoyed motorcycles, snowmobiles and boats.

He and his sweetheart, Jackie, explored Georgian Bay in their Cabin Cruiser, often staying aboard for a week or more.

Derek was athletic, excelling at hockey and lacrosse in his youth, and golf in later years. He loved that their family home was seven minutes from both his office and the golf course.

Derek lived in many places including Ontario, Quebec, Michigan and Illinois, and has maintained friendships from all.

Derek shared a passion for sports with his son, Daniel, and for music with his daughter, Roxy. His greatest passion is reserved for Jackie. Their 39 year marriage has been filled with a deep and constant love, and they promised each other that love will only grow until they are together again.

Derek leaves an example of what a man should be.

He also leaves Jackie, Roxy, Daniel (daughter-in-law, Tricia) and his treasured grandson, Wes to love him more with each passing day. When you think of Derek, remember his favourite saying, which is win-win.

He always said that in any personal or professional encounter, that he wanted both sides to walk away as a winner.

Derek has truly walked away as one.
