GIBLON, Barney   - Passed away peacefully, after a sudden and brief hospitalization in the loving company of his family on November 22, 2022.

Beloved husband to Beverley (nee Shubinsky) for 66 years.

Devoted father and father-in-law to Andrew and Cheryl Giblon; Jay Giblon and Karen Adler; and Heidi Giblon.

Proud grandfather of Rebecca, Melissa and Joel Giblon; Rachel and Allen Pimienta; Shmuel Giblon; Tamara Giblon and Duzie Rothman; Aviva Giblon; and Binyamin Giblon.

Great-grandfather of Amiella and Rafael Pimienta.

Brother and brother-in-law of the late Rosalie and Peter Nowell; Eunice and Barry Swadron; and Joy and Marshall Goodman. Barney will be sadly missed by all of his family, friends, and community.

A family physician and surgeon, Head of Family Medicine at Scarborough General Hospital, medical educator at University of Toronto, and a leader in the Toronto medical community. Brilliant, generous, hard-working, creative, artistic, and funny.

Funeral service was held at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 1:30 p.m.
