Fitzgerald AgnesFITZGERALD, Agnes Anne   -   July 8, 1943 – October 12, 2022

Agnes Anne FitzGerald died peacefully, on October 12, 2022, after a short stay in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto.

Her goddaughter, Andrée Lalonde, was by her side. Agnes was the daughter of the late Rita (Carroll), and Gerald "Fitz" Fitzgerald; and sister of the late Mary FitzGerald.

She is survived by first cousins: Carol Barker (Bruce Anderson), Bobby Carroll (Myrtle), Dick Carroll (Sherry), Colleen Carroll (Germain Lalonde), Walter Carroll (Estelle - deceased), Baden Carroll, Brenda Carroll, Marion Carroll (Barry Dombroski – deceased), Ross Carroll (Judy); a myriad of cousins once and twice removed; close friends, Eddie MacCubbin, Diane Wigginton, Karen Stiebel; and many more too numerous to mention.

Agnes was a woman of intelligence and curiosity as well as a connoisseur of good food and wine. Her life revolved around family and friends who loved her without reservation.

She loved her two cats, Measha Bruggergosman and Ben Heppner, who have been safely and lovingly re-homed. Her spirit and stories will live on in everyone's hearts.

There will be an Irish wake held in 2023.

Donations in Agnes' name are appreciated at either of the following charities, and notification cards can be sent to: 127 Donside Drive, Scarborough, ON M1L 1P9.
