Hall DavidHALL, David C.   -  December 6, 1935 - November 21, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of David, in his 86th year.

Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Elsie.

Loving husband for over 50 years to the late Donna.

Loving father of Roy (Karey) and Tracy (Vince).

Proud and loving Poppa of Meaghan, Ryan and Jessica. Never failing to be there for sports, concerts, activities and graduations; always there for those who needed him.

He was a past employee of Canada Post and the Beer Store. He loved coaching softball in Seven Oaks, and coaching minor hockey in Scarborough. Dave loved his garden and his pool, and in retirement, helping others with yard work.

He loved Christmas and brought joy to those young and old, helping substitute for Santa when needed. He will always be remembered as the Candyman with treats for everyone! He will be fondly remembered by his friends in Florida as "Canada Dave."

He cherished the time he wintered in Florida. It energized him so much.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Dave will be missed by his friends at the boat club in Scarborough and his hunting camps.

Never shying away from a spirited conversation on sports or current political events, Dave loved to chat over a coffee.

David will now be spending time filling his dance card with Donna in heaven.

As per David's wishes, there will be no service but the family will have a Celebration of Life in the Spring.
