DESROCHER, Audrey Bernice (nee HODGES) - Audrey passed away peacefully and with dignity, at her home with her loved ones close by on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the age of 87.
Audrey was the loving and dedicated wife of Ronald Desrocher for 67 years.
Dear mother of Michael (Debbie) of Brampton and Janine Desrocher of Waterloo.
Loving grandmother of Elizabeth (Wes) and Bryan (Jen), Jenna (Max) and Michael (Amber); great-grandmother of Jayden, Audrey, Brooke and Gracie.
Audrey loved literature, and being a published author was one of her proudest moments.
Her happiest times were spent travelling the world with family and friends, and of course, her precious time with family.
Never was her smile so bright than when she was with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed beyond words by all that have known her.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Audrey's Life will be held on January 7, 2023, in the Wellington Room of Graham Giddy Funeral Home Waterloo, 617 King Street N., Waterloo, at 11 a.m.
Audrey's wish was for her Celebration of Life to truly be just that, a celebration.
She does not want to look down at people in black, mourning; but at people in bright colours, enjoying time spent with each other talking about memories.
Donations to the Parkinson's Society or the Sleeping Children Around the World would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy by the family.
