Chubb WilliamCHUBB, William "Bill"   -  June 2, 1942 - December 4, 2022

The Chubb family is saddened to announce the loss of Bill, who passed away peacefully on December 4, 2022, in his 80th year.

Proud father to Christine; loving partner to Lena Belanger; and beloved brother-in-law to Arlene.

Bill will also be dearly missed by his nephew, Drew; and many dear friends.

Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy; and his sister, Sandy (Dave).

A great lover of sports, Bill was a longtime member of the Granite Club and the Don Mills Tennis Club.

When not on the rink or the court, Bill could be found on the golf course, or at a Blue Jays game. He was a longtime supporter of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and greatly enjoyed listening to jazz on Sunday afternoons at The Rex.

Bill loved a Sunday BBQ with the family, fishing trips with the boys, dancing, and travel.

Bill attended high school at York Memorial before pursuing a career as an accountant.

For over 40 years he worked at HH Angus as an Assistant Controller.

His family would like to thank the caring, supportive staff at Lakeside Long-Term Care Home for their compassion and kindness during his final days.

A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Centre on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., and a reception will follow.

In lieu of floral tributes, the Chubb family kindly asks that you consider making a donation in Bill's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of Toronto.

The Chubb family greatly appreciates your ongoing support during this difficult time.
