Stasiuk MarySTASUIK, Mary   -   May 8, 1926 - February 5, 2023

 

Mary passed away peacefully, on February 5, 2023, in her own home, at the age of 96.

 

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Stasuik; her sister, Kathleen Zambrick; her brother-in-law, Billy Zambrick, and her loving parents, Steve and Anne Feskow.

 

She will be greatly missed by her cousin, Anne; her godson, Michael (Luisa); and Kathleen/Katrusha Derezycky.

 

Mary lived a life full of travel, she went on at least 20 cruises, travelled extensively through North America, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia, and lastly, a pilgrimage to Ukraine. 

Holy Eucharist Ukranian Catholic Church on Broadview Avenue in Toronto was an integral part of Mary's life. Sunday mass was never missed, ever. She was a longtime member of the choir and the woman's league at the church.

She will be deeply missed by many friends and will be remembered fondly in the hearts of many.

 

Friends are welcome to visit the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne Street (at Wellesley), on Friday, February 10th, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Panikhida at 7 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 515 Broadview Ave., on Saturday, February 11th, at 10 a.m. followed by interment.

 

Donations can be made in Mary's memory to Holy Eucharist Catholic Church or a Charity of Your Choice.
