Bernard Fruitman, a Chiropractor from Toronto - known by all as Bernie.
Devoted husband to Sheila (nee Clayman). Loving father and father-in-law of Stephen and Nicola Davids, Eric Fruitman and Reni, and Richard Fruitman.
A proud grandfather to Rachel Jackson, Jenny Oliver, Aaron Davids, Jordan and Daniel Fruitman, and Sarah Rosen. He was an adoring great-grandfather to Freya Oliver, and Riley and Harper Jackson.
A caring elder brother of the late Sheila Burke (Bobby); and loving uncle to Gary and Jonathan Burke.
Bernie is affectionately remembered by cousins, Jeffery Fruitman and family, and Jill Fruitman. He will be fondly remembered by the rest of his family, professional colleagues and friends.
A Service will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West, followed by interment in the Hebrew Men of England section of Lambton Cemetery. Mourners are then invited back to the Burke family home at 731 Briar Hill Avenue, Toronto.
