Cook DorisCOOK, Doris Elsie (nee WILLOCK)   -  With sadness we announce the passing of Doris, on March 1, 2023 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, in her 95th year.

 

Predeceased by Alex, her husband of 67 years. Loving mother to Susan Lenius (Gary), Judy Bordignon (Giulio); beloved grandmother to Kirsten, Andrew (Tina), Ross and Audra.

 

Survived by her sister, Nancy Henkel (Herb); and sister-in-law, Betty Willock.

 

Will be sadly missed by numerous nephews and nieces.

 

Doris was an avid lawn bowler and member for many years of the North Toronto Lawn Bowling Association. She also was a member of the St. Andrews Group at St. Timothy's Church where she enjoyed quilting and knitting.

 

The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue), on Saturday, March 11th for visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. with a service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doris can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
