REEDIE, Margaret Bernice (nee HATTON) - July 5, 1921 - March 2, 2023
After a long, rich and full life, our beloved mother passed away gently, in her 102nd year in New Toronto, on March 2, 2023.
Bernice was predeceased by her loving husband of 73 years, David Charles (died 2013).
She was a beautiful woman whose smile and laughter would light up the room.
She loved to dance to the Big Band songs, and later she would sing and sway along with Neil Diamond.
She was a kind and very generous woman who will be remembered with love and gratitude by her four children, William (Anne), David, John (Elaine) and Penny (Don Quiring, died 2013).
She also leaves five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family is grateful to the nurses, PSWs and other staff for their exceptional care and attention to Bernice during the many years that she was a resident of Lakeshore Lodge.
We would especially like to thank her caregiver, Oxana, for the extraordinary care and love she shared with our mother.
The family has arranged a private funeral and burial.
