CAREY, Olive Helen -
August 27, 1929 – March 13, 2023
Passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023. Olive is survived by her husband of 63 years John (Sean) Carey.
She will be deeply missed by her pet cat, Whiskers, along with many extended family and friends in Canada, Ireland, England and Hong Kong, her dear friends Dianne Hunt, Liz Brandon, and her housekeeper Gloria.
Olive was an elementary school teacher at Tumpane Public School in North York for 38 years.
She was also a member of the Sweet Adelines Singing Chorus for 40 years.
Olive and her husband John built their cottage on Loon Call Lake in Apsley, Ontario and she enjoyed many happy memories there.
Cremation has been chosen with no funeral services.
Donations may be made in Olive's memory to a foodbank of your choosing, this was cause close to her heart.
