Calder ArdisCALDER, Ardis Ann   -

November 15, 1941 - March 20, 2023

Ardis Ann Calder (née Brooker), born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Ardis moved to Winnipeg with her loving parents, Arthur and Margaret Brooker, and brother, Arthur.

She moved to Toronto in 1973 when she married Hal.

Ardis had a long career as a kindergarten teacher and school librarian. She was an avid reader and enthusiastic bridge player.

Her sharp wit, sense of humour and green thumb were well known to her many friends.

More than anything, Ardis was a loving wife to Hal; a doting mother to Andrew (Trish) and Lauren (Michael); and smitten with her grandchildren, Ella, Maeve, Rhys (Calder) and Renny (Costello).

Ardis' kindness and generosity were felt by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

At Ardis' request, there will not be a service.
