LITTLE, Joyce Dianna (nee BLAIS) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce (Joy) Little, our loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, on April 1, 2023.
Joyce was the eldest daughter of the late Peter and Miriam Blais, of Ottawa, Ontario.
Joyce was a kind, caring, generous person, devoted mother, and exceptional grandmother.
She was a talented artist attending the Ontario College of Art (OCA) and a musician, having her highest level of piano at the Conservatory of Music.
Highlights of her career are working at the Canadian Opera Company, Toronto Symphony, singing in the Mendelssohn choir and music theatre.
She had a unique positive energy and will be dearly missed by all family and friends.
We will hold you forever in our hearts and try to pass on a legacy of walking through life with beautiful song in each step, and finding even a tiny glimmer of silver lining, even in the darkest moments.
There will be a Celebration of Life at The Port in Pickering, on Saturday, April 29th, from 12-3:30 p.m.
